Panchakarma

A unique and very effective process of Ayurveda, Panchakarma is the ultimate Ayurvedic detoxification of the body. Designed as per individual body constitution, it maintains balance of Doshas, digestive fire, immune status, health conditions, and many other factors.

The word Pancha means "five" and Karma means "therapeutic actions". Thus, Panchakarma is a process that involves five methods:

  1. Vamana – Therapeutic emesis
  2. Virechana – Therapeutic purgation
  3. Nasya – Medication through nasal route
  4. Anuvasana Vasthi – Therapeutic enema with medicated oils
  5. Niruha Vasthi – Enema with herbal decoction

This process provides immense benefits through its preventive, curative, and rejuvenation actions. It:

  • Helps to restore metabolic fire (Agni).
  • Assists in balancing all three Doshas.
  • Boosts the body’s immunity levels.
  • Slows the ageing process.
  • Helps implement a healthy diet and lifestyle.
  • Reduces stress, improves relaxation, and increases tolerance.
  • Is very useful in managing chronic diseases.
